New Hope Respite

New Hope Respite

New Hope Respite has been a mission of FUMC Smithville since 2017. We are now serving several guests from Smithville as well as guests who have been in our program since it's onset three years ago.  It is an honor to be able to serve the caregivers of our Alzheimer's & Dementia patients as for some, this is their only form of relief from the care of that special person.

We have a need for some additional volunteers.  If you have any free time on Thurs. from 10-2, please pray about giving assistance of some nature to keep this wonderful mission going.  If your time does not allow you to give the full time of our session there are other ways you could help. One way  to help would be to  contribute snack food for the morning, help with games or music or even help clean up the kitchen following lunch. Another way would be to financially assist because this service is offered to our friends at no charge.

Please consider making New Hope Respite of Smithville a mission of your own by assisting us.  You will finds it one of the most rewarding things you could be part of.
